Filoli’s daffodil collection — that has significant historical, public service and educational focuses — includes daffodils grown by tens of thousands in many different landscape situations that represent 122 different cultivars and 11 different divisions. In 2009, Filoli was selected as an American Daffodil Society Designated Display Garden, becoming the only such garden on the West Coast. Each year, about 20,000 bulbs from 60 different varieties (many brand new) are planted in containers throughout 654-acre property.
